How to Apply for Community Grants

The promise of Susan G. Komen® is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find the cures. For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, Komen Kansas is investing more than $303,000 in 9 local community programs. The Affiliate funds non-duplicative, community-based breast health education and breast cancer screening, diagnostic, and treatment projects for the medically underserved in the 95 Kansas counties in our service area. In addition to funding local outreach projects, Susan G. Komen® runs one of the most innovative, responsive grant programs in breast cancer today. The Kansas Affiliate is proud to have contributed more than $1.5 million toward research in our 26 year history.

Applications will be accepted for breast health or breast cancer screening, treatment, education, or support projects in our service area starting November 15, 2015 for the fiscal year April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017. Projects must address the objectives outlined in the “Funding Priorities” in the application.
